Move to larger offices January 2014

SECOPTA moved inside of TGS building complex into building H3 and now has considerably larger production and lab areas.

In the extended Technical Center, customer applications are developed in realistic measurement environments, e.g. over conveyor belts.

Providing an analysis system for the evaluation of ores December 2013

With the delivery and installation of a FiberLIBS system to analyse most different ores, the Vancouver-based company Minesense and SECOPTA founded a long-term collaboration in the sector of mining applications. The primary aim is to increase the efficiency of processing by using spectroscopic analysis technology.

Element analyser for laboratory use

Apart from renowned industrial measurement technology, SECOPTA now also offers a solution for material science problems in application-oriented laboratories.
In a measurement chamber with laser-protection glass panels in addition to a measuring head fixture are integrated an XYZ-axis system, an aiming laser and a high-resolution camera system. These components enable precise measuring point control and 2D-scans on flat surfaces.

New product for recycling applications

The new MopaLIBS enables a measuring rate up to 10 times higher than the conventional FiberLIBS. With a repetition rate of up to 1kHz, it is ideally suited for fast sorting tasks, such as in recycling.
